To us, you're a very special person
To everyone, you're part of a very special community – Cali-Camp!

Here is what happens HERE:

  • Each child is an important person, sharing in the democratic process of the whole group.
  • Each day is a chance for campers to learn to appreciate each other and to appreciate our natural wooded environment.
  • Camp starts with the physical skills and challenges that everyone expects at camp.
  • Beyond the obvious, we emphasize the social, emotional and psychological growth of campers.
  • We encourage campers to take responsibilitiy for themselves and their actions, then feel good about themselves.
  • We want every camper to take home a smile and ever-lasting memories, along with new skills and new friendships.
  • The best signs of success HERE are the memories that campers share with parents at day’s end.
  • CALI-CAMP MOTTO:  "Catch them doing something Right!"

All about our groups HERE:
Being in the right camper group is very important to campers. It is also important to us!

If a camper is not happy then neither are we. We will go to great lengths to make sure all campers are grouped appropriately according to our standards.

Campers are grouped by four criteria:

  • Grade in school (as of upcoming September)
  • Chronological age level, by years and months, as of June
  • Friend requested (You may select only ONE -1!)
  • Special needs (please communicate with Directors)

Guidelines for determining grouping:

  • We will attempt to group your child with ONE (1) other friend of the same grade or close age if requested it on the application.
  • We cannot guarantee this due to the variety of enrollment dates between friends.
  • It is helpful if friends request each other and enroll together at the same time.
  • Early enrollment is advisable to insure grouping with a friend.

To better understand our group and ratio structure, you can find your child on the chart below:
