What is Cali-Camp like?

Our camp is a BIG, beautiful place where we have been hosting children and young adults for 57 years. Our Directors and Administrators have Over 75 years of camping experience. We have a highly qualified staff of over 125 adults, college and high school students.  We have a very high retention rate for staff and believe that our continutiy of staff is really what makes Cali-Camp . . .

Where is the camp?

Cali-Camp is located at Big Rock Ranch in Old Topanga Canyon. Our beautiful 20-acre site is located 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 6 miles from the San Fernando Valley in the Santa Monica Mountain Range.


Who are the campers?

Our Day Camp is for children Pre-School through 9th grade (ages 4.0 to 14). We also have specialized camps in Horsebackriding (6-14), Sports (6-14), Academics (6-14) and Leadership for ages (12-14).


When is the camp season?

For 2012 Cali-Camp will operate for 10 weeks, beginning Monday, June 18th and ending Friday, August 24th. Camp starts at 8:45 AM and ends at 4:30 PM. Supervision and transportation begin earlier and end later.

How do I learn everything that I will need to know?

We have a parent handbook that will be both online and sent to each family with everything they need to know.
