What is Cali-Camp like?
Our camp is a big, beautiful place where we
have been hosting children and young adults for 55 years. Our director and administrators
have over 125 years of combined camping experience. We have a staff
of over 150 adults, college and high school students. |

Where is the camp?
Cali-Camp is located at Big Rock Ranch in Old Topanga
Canyon. Our beautiful 20-acre site is located 7 miles from the Pacific
Ocean and 6 miles from the San Fernando Valley in the Santa Monica Mountain
Range.

Who are the campers?
Our Day Camp is for children Pre-School through 9th grade (ages
4.0 to 14). We also have specialized camps in Horsebackriding (6-14),
Sports (6-14) and Leadership for ages 12-14.
When is the camp season?
Camp operates for 9 weeks, beginning Monday,
June 21st and ending Friday, August 20th. Camp starts at 8:45 AM
and ends at 3:30 PM. Supervision and transportation begin earlier
and end later. |
How do I learn everything that I will need to know?
We conduct 2 MANDATORY Staff orientation sessions, Saturdays: June
5th, and 12th. Saturday, June 5th from 8am to 8pm and Saturday and June 12th from
10am to 10pm. A total of 24 hours of training (details will be sent
in employment package. (Dates and Times subject to change)
