What is Cali-Camp like?
Our camp is a big, beautiful place where we
have been hosting children and young adults for 53 years. Our director and administrators
have over 125 years of combined camping experience. We have a staff
of over 150 adults, college and high school students. |

Where is the camp?
Cali-Camp is located at Big Rock Ranch in Old Topanga
Canyon. Our beautiful 20-acre site is located 7 miles from the Pacific
Ocean and 6 miles from the San Fernando Valley in the Santa Monica Mountain
Range.

Who are the campers?
Our Day Camp is for children grades Kindergarten through 9 (ages
5.6 to 14). We have a Junior Camp for young ones ages 3 and 4 plus
young 5-year olds. We also have a specialized camps in Horsebackriding,
Sports and Leadership for ages 6-14.
When is the camp season?
Camp operates for 9 weeks, beginning Monday,
June 23rd and ending Friday, August 22nd. Camp starts at 8:45 AM
and ends at 3:30 PM. Supervision and transportation begin earlier
and end later. |
How do I learn everything that I will need to know?
We conduct 3 MANDATORY Staff orientation sessions, Saturdays: June
7th, 14th and 21st. Saturday, June 7th from 9am to 5pm, Saturday, June 14th from
9am to 9pm and Saturday, June 21st from 1pm to 5pm (details will be sent
