NEW FOR 2012:  Cali-Camp is proud to be offering what parents have been asking about for so long - The Best of Both Worlds... Summer School and Camp all in one for campers ages 6 - 14!  Cali-Academics is perfect as an option for that camper who needs summer school and still wants to experience the FUN activities at Camp! Cali-Academics Camp will operate in 1 week sessions Monday through Friday (5 days).  That's 15 Academic sessions and 15 Camp Activities.

Cali-Academic Camp will be taught by a credentialed teacher.  Campers will spend half of the day (3  - 1 hour periods) in the Academic pursuits of Math, Language Arts and Reading.  The day will be broken up by exciting camp activities (swimming every day).  It is the perfect blend for a well rounded day.

Aerial Arts Camp keeps you flying high HERE:

"Cirque du Cali"

NEW FOR 2012:  Cali-Camp is proud to be offering Aerial Arts Camp for Boys and Girls Ages 5 - 13.11.  Aerial Arts Camp will be offered in nine (9) one (1) week sessions:  Monday through Friday.  Your child will be in the safe hands of FOCUSfish Specialists, participating in aerial trapeze, silks and lyra lessons and performances; as well as poi, juggling, acrobatics & hula hoop activities for 3 hours each day.  After lunch, cirque activities are balanced with three other camp activities, including daily recreational swimming.

Extreme Mountain Biking Camp keeps you trekking HERE:

NEW FOR 2012:  Cali-Camp is also offering campers ages 9 and up the opportunity to get excited about Mountain Biking with Extreme Mountain Biking Camp.  Mountain Biking Camp will be offering nine (9) one (1) week sessions:  Monday through Friday.  Riders will go off campus and check out bike trails all over the Santa Monica Mountains with our Cali-Camp Biking Specialists. We have bike riding trails behind our property too! Campers will ride 1/2 day (3 hours) and then come back for lunch and the other 1/2 day (3 hours) in camp activities, including daily swimming.

Skateboard Park to come soon

Skateboarding / BMX is the way to roll HERE:

NEW FOR 2012:  Cali-Camp has put in a professional Skateboard Park with a 30 x 24 ft Half Pipe Ramp and a playground of obstacles and courses for both skateboards and BMX bicycles.  We are offering campers ages 6 and up the opportunity to get excited about Skateboarding and BMX Bikes with it's own Specialty Camp.  Skateboarding / BMX Camp will be offering nine (9) one (1) week sessions:  Monday through Friday.  Skaters and Bikers will explore the sports and learn the skills with our Cali-Camp Biking Specialists.  Campers will skate and ride 1/2 day (3 hours) and then lunch and the other 1/2 day (3 hours) in camp activities, including daily swimming.

Sports Camp is the way to go "sports" all the way HERE:

Cali-Camp is proud to introduce, for its 5th season, “Cali-Sports Camp.”

This program will focus on a variety of popular Athletic Skills and is perfect for the child who needs to practice the fundamentals of Soccer, Basketball and Tennis.

 

Campers will receive daily instruction with emphasis on one sport per week for 3 hours each day balanced off with three other camp activities, including daily recreational swimming. In order to provide for the continuity of learning these skills, campers must enroll for one week sessions, Monday through Friday.

Soccer: Weeks 2, 5 and 8, Basketball: Weeks 3, 6 and 9 and Tennis: Weeks 1, 4 and 7.

Each day we will fill the second half with selected camp activities including recreational swimming.

Campers of all ages and abilities will learn a progression throughout the week. Each week will introduce new techniques and skills, beginner to advanced, and rules of the sports as well.

CILT Program

Leadership Camp

Campers in Leadership Training (CILT's)

Learn to lead HERE:

(Ages 12 - 14, Grades 7 - 9)

 

  • Leadership skills and techniques are priceless, and we make the learning fun in our Leadership Training Program.
  • The following topics included in training:  age traits of children, leadership styles, teaching techniques, positive behavior management techniques, teaching games and songs to children, communication techniques and helping children to build character and self esteem.
  • We spend a half day (3 activities for 3 hours ) training and practicing and the other half is reserved for camp activities, including a daily swim.
  • Campers must sign up for One (1) Full Week Training Program Monday through Friday, then the following weeks can be either 2 days T-Th, 3 days M-W-F or 5 days MTWTHF

Wrangler Camp
(Separate Program for ages 6 - 14, Grades 1 - 9)

Learn to Ride or perfect your skills HERE:

  • Our most popular program, for campers who are avid horseback enthusiasts.
  • Program sells out early and has waiting lists.
  • Wranglers spend half the camp day (3 hours) with horses and the remaining half participating in assorted day camp activities (always including swimming).
  • Campers learn horsemanship skills at all levels from beginning to advanced.
  • Two different level riding groups.  Emphasis on Natural Horsemanship
  • Improved Riding Facility and equipment with addition of new shade structures and wash racks.
  • Pre-program camper interview assists riding staff in determining appropriate skill level placement.
  • All riders required to wear long pants and hard toe boots or shoes with heels.
  • We provide riding helmets, required by the ACA and CHA riding safety standards.
